Gallery 53 on Rocky Neck is open and I'll be minding the store every couple of weeks. Next up:
I stopped blowing glass in mid-March 2020. Getting back to it, but in the mean time I've been doing a bit of fusing using Murrini made in the hot glass studio -mostly suncatchers and jewelry like these
Thursday, June 3th through Sunday, June 13th online
I created this work - a rendition of the Paint Factory on Rocky Neck in Gloucester - in my new medium - fused glass.
Oh - and I've also been doing a lot of beading like these fun sports-themed earrings. I did some Yankees ones on commission but don't DARE shot those!
Now getting into some copper foil/stained glass hurricanes for those windy evnings. Here's a sample of my initial work. Having some fun now!!

My cod - all 17" of it - as seem in this picture - is made of glass murrini I made in the glassblowing studio. I then lined them all up and fused them into this cod shape.
The cod will be on display at HND Architects, 52A Atlantic Ave in Marblehead. Must be seen to be believed!!
The auction opens for bidding June 20 and ends at 10pm July 4.
